85 fork replacements

Hi my right side fork has a broken damper rod and I'm looking to replace the forks as a replacement damper is not readily available. I'm wondering what forks/clamps fit the 85 frame. I have seen a few sets of XR forks cheap are these fit for replacement? cheers, I'm in aus so shipping from USA for set of 85 forks $$$

Pretty sure xr650l forks will fit, in fact pretty sure its the same from end as the 80s generation cr500. I can get a OD measurement for you if you want.

Look for '86 forks, they are cartridge type.
