quick question

I recently picked up a basket case 96 motor to rebuild for an eventual AF build. It didn't come w/ the CDI. Will I need to pu a 500 CDI or will I be able to use the donor bikes unit?

The hot ticket is to run a complete digital CR250 ignition & flywheel.

I have a extra 500 cdi and ingtion coil from a 95 500 if yoir looking fpr one

You'd be looking at around $200 for a used coil, box, and flywheel. Might find a good deal on eBay for much less if you're patient.
I've pieced together a gen1 conversion (for cheap) with lots of trick parts off eBay over quite a few years, hopefully it will all come together soon!
