So, we picked up some "ice studs"
Picked up a bunch of 1/2 inch, course thread, hex head screws.
Threaded them into the tire lugs (hex head is what makes ground contact)
Surprisingly, they hook up on the ice as good, if not better than a dirt tire in the dirt. Havent gotten much seat time yet, but they seem to corner well too.
Got them for like a dollar a box on clearance, figured it would be worth a shot. I will update after we get a good ride on them-buddy has a large pond plenty big enough for a decent oval track.

Natural selection favors Smart people, so nature selects morons to be slow and dumb for tigers and stuff too eat. But in our modern world there just aren't enough tigers.
