Info on Engraved Cylinder?

My cr500 97 engine turned up from the States today, I was just checking the condition of everything when I came across some neatly engraved numbers and letters on the left hand side cylinder near the outside of the transfer ports. Its got 
4Y 2 134 . I don't think it is from HONDA. Maybe from a port job. Any ideas
