The modified pipe that came with the bike is on the left.
Looks like a very modified stock pipe.
I snagged the pipe on the right thinking it was a 500 stock pipe but now that I look at it, it appears to be a 250 pipe.
Anybody else think so?
Anyway, pinholes patched, sandblasted and painted with PJ1 hightemp satin.

Damn.
I guess the one on the right truly is a 500 pipe.
The 250 I looked at didn't have the pronounced "S" and then I found this.
Now I wonder about the one on the left.
Apparently it is a later model modified pipe.

The pipe on the right looks exactly like my 87 cr500 pipe.... Without the excessive rust and dents ha

the extra bend in chambers ie... 500cc wrap around the gearbox a bit more as abosed to ones that just exit the manifold are as follows

the longer pipe mellows the rate at which the power is delivered .... ive recently purchased a 91 works 500 originating from Europe & it has a different pipe for every track[/img]
