Another Aussie starting af build. Just wondering what everyones thoughts were on the stock exhaust manifold?? Aftermarket?? Is it worth buying a 2nd hand one, do they wear out??

I use the stock manifold and seal it with high temp RTV silicone. Let cure for 24hrs.

Thanks for the reply, i bought a engine recently and it didn't come with one so i rang my local honda dealer to get a price. Almost had a heart attack when he said $130 thats without the gasket or anyother parts, i thought if i'm going to spend that much i might try to chase up a better aftermarket one or import one from the US cheaper, i have heard of the atomic22 but can't seem to find any on the net.

The Atomic 22 one is aluminum, and only lasts on bikes that sit in the garage and get polished.

atomic came out with a steel one, hardly ever see them available
