NEW MEMBER, ADVICE NEEDED!!
Hello all, new member here. I currently have a 2002 cr250. I want to buy or build a cr500 af. I don't have the coin to buy a service honda (and I've heard bad things about them). I've found other sites on the web (MPS, animal power, 500 conversions) that build them, but I'm not sure about the quality of the framework. Any opinions?? From reading through the threads here I've heard good things about Pstoffers work, but I would rather buy one and not have to hack up my 250 so I can have two bikes. There is a 2003 MPS for sale a few hours away from me for a reasonable price, but as previously stated, I am nervous about their quality of builds. Any help or advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

MPS conversions may not be the prettiest, but they work. I've had mine since 2006 and haven't had any issues. I've heard people having problems with fitment that just had frames modified; mine was a full bike. If it can take a 400 lb guy jumping it, I'd say it's decent build quality.
I will confess Paul is modifying a frame for me for my second conversion.
