ok id rathger ask you guys because i trust your opinion on an off topic subject...i have a 89 gsxr 750 it looks like wiseco reccomend the top and second ring gaps be parralell or inline with wrist pins..(one gap either side),that makes sense it keeps the gaps off the thrust face,,now suzuki manual states top ring gap 90 degrees or perpendicular to wrist pin but because the gap is at the back of the cylinder..(IN) isnt that right on the thrust face...is the major thrust face of an inline 4 the back of the cylinder due to crank rotating forward..i need your thoughts boys..i could just do what manual says but im fussy and i want to know why wiseco reccomend different gap positioning..thanks guys..is one better for blow by?

Yup, I never took a ring out that was facing the same way as when I put it in . . . . except on a good ole 2 stroke with ring pins !
