I'm torn between a GPR or Scotts Steering Stabilizer for my 02 Honda CRF450 CR500 AF. Any input from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

seperate high speed dampening, find a bike with one, put it on the stand and violently slam the bars side to side, if its set anywhere near proper you will feel the HS slow it right down

yeah i have both aswell and the ohlins one we have doesnt compare to the scotts in the bush but the ohlins one is the nuts for mx i found the ohlins one wasnt strong enough for the high speed whoops that we run

Fitting the Ohlins SD 2.1 to 2001 Steelie?

G'day Hoons,
I am keen to fit up one of the new type Ohlins SD 2.1 dampers to a 2001 steelie.
Ohlins offer only mounting kits for later CRFs - does anyone know if the upper steering head bearing and shaft dimensions of a 2001 CR500 is the same as any of these 2008-2009 models:
Honda CRF 250
Honda CRF 450
Honda CRF 450X
Honda CRF 250X
Honda CRF 250 R
Honda CRF 450 R
