I used a stock KTM rfs decompression cable and lever (any hot start or decamp should work)
It's not good looking but it's functional. I need to machine the whole setup out of Al, but this was quick to make.

Always good to see all the different approaches to advance the old beast.
You maw want to angle the cable a bit, should put less stress on the decomp button.
I like that you have made a simple adaptor for a no weld decomp system, are you using a copper washer or oring for the seal?

The adapter is sealed to the head with blue loctite, though I have a copper washer here if I notice leakage.
I thought about the angle (and it would be simple when I remake the bracket in billet) however I noticed the extreme angle makes it harder to pull the decomp. I feel that it may be a good thing as it prevents a light touch / branches from accidentally pulling it.
