cylinders?

Hello, i have a cylinder that i have an over size piston for now a magnet sticks to it and i can see a very thin bronze colour on top of my cylinder so i think its sleeved but when i took it to get re-bored the guy said it cant be re-bored as its nikasil? I will try get some pics can someone help please?

Stocker 500 cyls were not nikosil and were able to be bored. Post the pic, use photobucket or something like that because without a Pic guys wont be able to help much. Once your Pic is up just wait a few. There are some dudes on here that really know these motors and will be able to help.

Nikasil or not, of course you can bore it as long as its not at the final oversize.
If its true and straight, and the nikisil is good, you dont need to bore it at all.
Tell us what your trying to accomplish....
