My home built 03 A/F
Been working on my 03 crf450 conversion on and off for over a year now using all the tech and info on here and getting close to having it finally finished. It would have been easy to slap it together and ride a while ago but since I'm a welder of over 23yrs and my brother a machinist of 21 years I wanted it to be like a factory looking bike without buying anything and doing it as nice as possible .I got the complete 98 500 motor in trade for putting a lift kit on a new f250 last year and got the rolling 450 for $800.00 so other than time ,98 cr250 intake boot ,new fmf pipe & silencer and a few other odds and ends I'm doing good so far. I will get pics up soon as it sets on the bench almost ready to be welded up and hopefully in the dirt soon.
