Thats cheap for an aussie buy.
it does have some mech issues but it's a ripper to start with.
I'm stokesd as i origionaly was looking for parts ... this looks abit better then a parts bike.

Hi mate
Did you buy it from a guy from out Liverpool NSW area and on ebay?
I'm asking cos it was on the bay before and before that it was at a bike dealers.
I looked over it at the dealers and it has a front master cyl guard and twisted brake hose (not shown in pics) + the chain slider is missing ,chain cutting into swingarm.
Which is why there are no pictures of the chain side.Thats only the start of it.
Its a total ball of shit.
Be carefull this one is a money pit.

Way to send a shitstorm over someone else's parade. He already bought it, your not helping any, just putting a screw in deeper.

Never any intention to piss him off or put down his purchase.
In fact I'm sure he knows way more about cr500's than me and is
more than capable of restoring it.
If he had inspected the bike,he may have thought twice about buying it.
The seller did not disclose all the visible faults, his is aware of them because I pointed them out to him the last time it was on the bay.
The seller's pictures are deceiving and misleading.
Asteroid's in Melbourne and I'm in Sydney where the bike is.
I would have a good look over it before handing over any coin.
Its not sold until he pays for it,he can always back out if he is more informed or by inspecting before paying.
Just trying to help him out by giving him the whole picture.
I hope it all works out for him

To be honest,
there all pieces of shit to start with, they will all need good coin spent on them to restore them & i originale bought it to have extras for the 85.....
I've payed for it all ready, but if its a dud im sure i could get a few buck returned.

No such thing as a dud and it sounds like it's in good hands now.

I don't know why I keep defending you if you won't even defend yourself.

It damn well better "scrub up" in the next couple of DAYS! Don't give 'er too hard though.

Hey look at the piece of shit I started out with. It's a pretty respectable piece of shit now, b'y. (that's newfie talk, translation equivalent to "mate")

Don't get discouraged, no matter what assholes are shitting on you.

Have a little think about that before you get up on your self appointed
