Front Sprocket??

Stupid question here......

Should the front sprocket have slight side to side wiggle?

The output shaft does not wiggle gut the sprocket feels like is has play event with the sprocket bolt torqued down. And yes....both the bolt and spacer are there. When torqued down, the bolt and spacer bottom out on the output shaft instead of the sprocket. There is no front to back play but again, with the bolt and washer bottoming out on the output shaft the sprocket does not get the squeeze I think it should.

Worn sprocket? or is this normal? :?

When you say "side to side".... do you mean " in and out".... like towards and away from the case?

Exactly......Its not much but it is there. The motor and frame are at the Fab shop right now but as soon as I get it back I'll get some pics.

I've heard of full foating front disk brakes but not full floating front sprockets....

Is there any oil weeping out of the inner o-ring seal? Had that problem with one of my 85's, the other bike is tight. Like to hear someone else's experiences, the one still has a bit of slop but isn't leaking (yet) since I replaced the seal.

I just read the "manual" and I just realized that the washer for the sprocket is a "SPRING" washer and should have just a little bit of a curve to it......I gotta make sure that when I get the motor back I check to make sure that the washer is oriented correctly.

and make sure the sprocket is on the right way, with the big flat spot out for the spring washer to push against
