Heres a free Android app that might interest some Hoons...Ive been using it for about a year now....Its an app called My Tracks....it records your rides using Google maps and shows max speed, avg speed, avg moving speed ,moving time, total time, distance travelled, minimum and maximum elevation changes, min grade, max grade ....3 different screens...one has the route traced out on Google Maps, another screen has a graph showing elevation and speed changes, the third screen has all the info listed above.....and then if you have Google Earth installed on your phone you can actually replay your ride in 3D.......the 3D replay is shown from about 30 ft above your bike and moves faster...for instance a 20 munute ride takes about 5 minutes to replay. I use the My Tracks app for both my street and dirtbike rides.
