Dam dude your killing it!!
That's not me  It's a guy called Gary Roberts who started CrossFit and the Paleo diet and they are filming him once a week to see his progress.

Bought me one of these and have started running again...

249 today...woo hoo in the 240's. First time in a long time. Still riding my bike and staying active, just really come to grips with the reality that I love food. I am eating healthier, basically no fried stuff and watching my portions and riding my bike. Feeling way better about popping my shirt off on the boat this summer, and I feel like I am better at everything right down to tieing my shoes.

This should knock a few pounds off...
Did a CrossFit Hero WOD today called "Murph" to honor Lieutenant Michael Murphy, Navy SEAL who was killed in Afghanistan in the engagement described in the book "The Lone Survivor". Run for 1.2 miles, do 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats and then run the same 1.2 loop in the opposite direction. The Marines present and other young guns did this with 20# weight vests or body armor. I carried my built-in weight vests around in just over an hour.

Taps / Last Post was played before we started and it was quite a moment. Very moving.

God bless those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, all veterans, and those serving today.

Well I may have lost a little but had the anniversary weekend over Memorial Day. Went to Half Moon Bay, ate some serious sea food, highlight was certainly the Abalone sandwich at Duarte's. I rode my bike along the coast but not with the same vigor as usual. I also met this dude Jeff Clark, a Mavericks big wave surfer. He and his wife are super cool. They let me ride this 6'6" skateboard around and then I paddleboarded on a loaner paddleboard and did a little wave riding. If your in Half Moon Bay stop by their shop called Maverick's and buy a T shirt or something, these people are the frickin coolest!!!

Can you say backslide? I was good all last week good workout etc. then came the weekend. Brother in Laws Bachelor party....I ate cheeseburgers and total crap, I drank too much, I did minimal physical activity and then drank and ate more. +5 on the scale this morning...totally sucks.

This is actually one of the areas I have learned from, don't beat yourself up too bad and get back after it. I'll beat that number back down but one weekend of pure crap has officially put the hurt on this Monday's number.

It felt good to have everyone saying "dude you look great"

Maybe mostly water weight from eating a bunch of salt. +1 this morning after a monster 20mile bike ride yesterday.

Not doing that great due to a nasty prostate infection that won't go away. Been on antibiotics for over a month. Guess I got it from peddling too much on my X bike. Should have spent more time on the Concept2 rower. Just read a book on the Paleo diet, good stuff from Dr Cordain. I have read a lot of diet and nutrition books and this is one of the better ones for sure.

Nice Bob!!!! how's the ankle feeling?

As a member of the weak ankle club I must say taking 45 to 50 pounds off my frame sure has helped. I sprinted the full length of a football field the other day messing with my kids and felt fast.....kind of felt like getting issued some pads

Hovering at same weight but got some great work outs in this weekend. Feel great.

Had a guy on a full race road bicycle catch up to me hill climbing this weekend. He said "Dude you are strong as an Ox, I've been trying to catch you for 3 miles, you need to buy a race bike, you would be killing it" felt good to hear but I'm staying on the cruisers, wearing baggy shorts, keeping all the hair on my legs and wearing wind flapping T-shirts...more my style.

249...hovering. Had a rough time getting in my workouts last week...busy kids week. Camping last weekend. O.K. on food and drink. Wakeboarded all weekend and my arms and core are sore. Kids are with my parents for the week and then taking off with wife for week so I have 2 weeks with nothing to get in the way of some good workouts. Hoping to kick it into overdrive.

247...the pounds are not falling off anymore, seems like I'm reshaping more now. My clothes fit totally different and I have had to buy all new stuff. Have a ways to go still but I am slowly but surely getting there.

I've been hovering between 245 and 250, I'll get final weigh in on Saturday. Still excercising almost daily, although my weight has basically leveled off my clothes fit great. I'm down right around 45 to 50 lbs and I could use to lose a little more but man I feel great.
