My big E got the heavy duty tubes fitted and 3 of us rode to the Sand Palms pub, 70k's there through every type of terrain.
The other guys were on a kato 525 & a xr650 and they are experienced riders, well we duked it out on the big open stuff to see who would ride point in the tight stuff and it was a shoot out between my CRE500 and the canary 525, which I smoked with the killer top end trump card I have (finke desert race porting), yeh I got sucked in when I was out front in the tight stuff thinking how good it was to be getting the no dust clean air untill I realised I was riding russian rulette with the skippys, I would have cleared an easy 50 of the big rodents off the track which at times scared the shit out of me, mate Id hate to hit a big kangaroo at speed!
