AlisoBob - under the knife

Post by Roostius_Maximus »

Bob is getting that achillies tendon re-attatched today. He had Vicky call me in the last few minutes before the sedation took effect so he could say his good bye and get some last minute words in incase he does'nt wake up.

Good luck big fella!

Vicky is emailing me a pic that i'll post up.

It happened just like this.... Mashed a gapper out to Left / Center.... turned to run.... no dice.

http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=19861739

Ryan Howard describes it perfectly.... Especially about his foot being on a "platform".

It felt to me like I had a deck of cards under my heel.

That sux.
I've stepped in holes while working and had a problem with mine but not debilitating like that.
Looks like you're gonna be waited on for a while.
Can we send you some coloring books or something?
You'll probably be some kinda expert at searching stuff on the web by the time you get back on it. :)
