Pretty  !

BMW 4-door hatch? Kinda like the Audi A3 over here. Do they have a 2 door version? Like the old 318ti? - but with a proper motor?

Its a production race, so it mostly cars you can get of the show room floor.
I know in the states you guys mostly race coupé's but 4 door sedans are the general public's prefered car Down under

No, but boB said it was cool to use the logo.
We ended up 3rd in class (E) & 14th over all, with our sister car 2nd in class & 12th overall.
The bigger BMW (class D) came 3rd in class 13th over all.

It rained the whole day, scary shit at the mountain i can tell ya. lots of water equalled lots of electrical gremlins.

No worries here about it being car racing. Big boys circuit. I think you are one lucky guy and well done too. Definitely bucket list item.

Is the mount panorama circuit (Bathurst) know state side .... there was a US/Europe team in this race, they crashed out early in the day, but were well'n'truley up front at the time.

I was stoked as they had the 130% rule applied, i made it into an international elite drivers group albeit in a small capasity E class car.

Fkc me Greg,
It was raining so hard & foggy you couldnt even see the blue rain lights mandatory on all night race vehicles.
I was going threw the chase at 240km, blind & if an A grade car (lambo, audi, ferrari) went threw it was worst.
I still went threw at high speed so i could keep the gap tight, we were well above some of the D class cars for a while, but they lost our car for 9 laps
