I did a similar thing with a vacum at work, if you pluged the end it would blow air. Put a few rivets in it and aim for the pigeons shiting on your parts.

i made one that shot bbs from a fire extinguisher that was "donated" from school, 4X scope and 200 psi of air
was pretty cool shooting and seeing a minigun stream of bullets thru the scope
if i could figure out a way to get 500 psi and a rifled barrel it would be real powerful
also killed my compressor from bypassing the auto shut off to get 200psi
