That's a gen2. Not 3 as stated in the ad...
Looks sharp tho, don't know much about "Elsinore factory either"

Yes, definitely a Gen 2. Looks quite similar to mine. Except I dont have the pretty stickers....or the GPR

Its a KX look to me ... i like gold rims, having said that, on my Duke MX-GP- DVD's i got for X-mas, from 1985 - 1990 not 1 European or US team had them on there bikes.
Be thay factory or privateer teams, yet to me & alot of Aussie honda bike owners they were so very popular in the 80's........

Look at the gen2 for $ 4200. I think a gen 3 or 4 should be worth more. What about you guys?

Nice looking bike for sure, I am all about black rims hands down favorite.....but if I was to find another 1986 it would have gold ones for sure I liked that more orange color with the golds alot.

the elsinore factory wasn't there a big whohar on here about them a while back they look OK but wouldn't mind seeing some close ups of their workmanship and most of the frames i have seen are all powder coated which i personally don't like.

elsinore factory suck balls , iv got a gen 4 frame sitting in my shed the guy that builds them russ is so full of shit, talks a big game but has no idea.
got a list as long as my arm of shit wrong with that conversion
he also stuffed up a pair of new radiators .
