I ordered a new bolt kit (stainless hex head) and have 2 questions.

1: It recommends anti –seize to prevent galling. I was going to use blue locktite to prevent them from falling out. What is right?

2: The rear shock linkage bolts are labeled “recommended for sport use only, not recommended for motocross or abusive riding” what’s up with that???

I buy all my bolts from teh local nut and bolt supply house.. IE Mcfadden Dale, Fastners, or something of the like. When it comes to something that is going to be under alot of pressure i usually do grade 8's.. but for most of the cosmetic stuff i prefer allen head shoulder bolts instead of the regular ones.. Speakin of you reminded me i gotta go find the proper seat mount bolts and plastics bolts LOL..

I believe Loctite will act as an anti-galling agent, because basically you want something that will prevent the two metal parts touching. For all my stressed bolts I use an assembly lube and then torque it correctly. Other un-stressed bolts I use a dab of blue Loctite.
