I flew down from the Gold Coast to Melbourne last wednsday,
& sitting beside me was Mick Doohan the legendery GP500 rider,
No not that kind, the black top kind, so sitting there i didnt want to talk to him about bikes because every fucker he will ever meet for the rest of his life will,
i simply said " i'll only ask you 1 bike question" ( it ended up being 2 )

Q ... Have you ever thrown a leg over a CR500
A ... Sure have ( his face lit up & a huge smile burst forward )

Q ... Out of ten how do you rate it.
A ... Fun ( bigger smile now )

Simple answers from a very laid back man.
Thought id share that with you guys.

That dude is cool, I flew him with some other people years ago and he noticed I had an FMF hat on and asks me if I ride. I said yeah, grew up racing CR500's. His reply, well I know you got balls....

I wish they would bring back the smokers to GP, nothing beats that howl WFO.
Mighty Mick and Gary "the slide king" Mccoy were my favourites to watch.
