What gearing for semi open AZ desert?

Post by AURORA »

What gearing do you recommend for running in the, for the most part open, AZ desert? Mostly open area and roads followed by some small washes.

14/45?
14/47?
15/45?

Looking for advice.

Thx!

I did see that post.

I just wasn't sure because the gear was all over the place. That is why I was looking for more than a hand full of people listing their gearing.

My bad.

Dewayne Jone told me to run either a 14/45 or a 15/45 for the open desert.
Yes I have a Scott's Stabilizer on the bike and Dewayne is going through the suspension for my weight and desert ride. Hopefully no head shake.
