I make my own torque plates and let the machine shop use them while they do my cylinders. The '92 I just bought has the stud scar thing going on, gonna make a torque plate for it before I take it to be bored.

Donno what guys who do it "correctly" charge, I pay $35 at a local machine shop, but like I said, I bolt the torque plate on the cylinder when I drop it off, and I prefer to chamfer my own ports. I'd guess somewhere in the $60 range for someone that does it all for you correctly.

$60.00 includes clean/bead blast chamfer all ports (after I chamfer the ports with the die grinder I hand sand all the chamfers into a radius it's a lot more work but makes for a nicer job) bore&pleateu hone with torque plate reclean and oil cyl for shipping!!
Shipping with USPS is about $20.00 each way
Most automotive machine shops may have a hard time honing out these cyls due to the large intake port!! The honing stones and shoes want to fall into the port and makes the hone head jump all over which makes it impossible to keep the cyl strait and true !! ( this also depends on what honing machine and hone head they are using?????) my $15,000.00 sunnen ck10 would not hone these cyls worth a shit with a standard hone head!!!!!!!!
