So-Cal HoonFEST 2012 ( Iggs Birfday Bash)

Post by AlisoBob »

So, Jawbone sounds popular.

What about dates?

We can work around the Adalanto GP....

Sometime in March sounds good to me, but it might be a bit cold at night with temps in the 40's.

St. Paddys Weekend? ( 16-17-18 )

In April, night time temps are in the 50's.

What do you guys think??

Iggros TG weekend 09 Dove Springs
http://bannedcr500riders.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=7848
After looking at those, I'm wondering if we could move this to Dove Springs?

We would be 6 or 7 miles from SC102 instead 22 from Jawbone.
And Mcgivers cabin is doable for everyone from there.

Now if people are bring out hillclimbers then Jawbone has to be, however I just like DS better.
The dirt road into DS is 5 miles to the spot but its a very flat and smooth after you make the right turn and clear the main camping area, road that you can go 55+ with your rig if you dare.

This is the route I know. It's roughly 18 miles 1 way and is mostly fire road. It's a ride that pretty much anyone can do. I love being up there and you have a great view. Just don't take a shit in the shitter if it's windy. You get a nice updraft. :P

I dont care if its D/S of Jawbone.... Wait ... I do care because if its D/S Igg-Ro can lead!

Dove Springs it is...

On another note... Trace called me today... and he wants to come to the Cali HoonFEST to meet all the hoons who have never been able to make it out to AZ. I told him it was Igg's birfday too, and he really gor revved up!!

So Igg, start the planning, and lets do this right!!
