Searls, 23, had been in a coma since Sunday night after he attempted to dive from the first floor of Billy's Beach House into the pool.
He missed the pool and landed on the cement, causing critical head and back injuries.

Unfortunate. Maybe drunk and slipped on takeoff? Paying the ultimate price for doing stupid shit. Sad.

Man that sucks. Unfortunately the mind frame that allows someone to be such a good extreme athlete sometimes doesn't focus on self preservation. Best wishes to his family.

Exactly. Guys like him, Pastrana, Twitch and others have been narrowly escaping death for years. but, they love it.
