Well, one album anyway.
Like Trent Reznor and NIN? Well Trent and his buddy Saul Williams are essentially giving away Saul's new album "The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust" @ http://niggytardust.com For nothing you can download the album in mp3 format @ 192kbps. If you want to contribute $5, you can get it in lossless format and some other goodies.
I snagged it. I liked the first track OK. There's a remake of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" that's decent. Other than that, I'm not a fan. Rather like NIN crossed with hip hop, without being anywhere near as good.
This is how the future of music distribution ought to be IMHO. Try before you buy model. If there was some option to, I might have even kicked a buck for the 2 tracks I thought were OK.
A big thumbs up to Trent and Saul for doing it this way at any rate.
