If I pulled the Engine/pipe/carb /electrics... What would a 2008 CRF250 with a dogger full cradle replacement be worth?? I may let this one go, so I can do a Gen 5

MPS has a gen3 450 roller converted on eBay for like $3500 and their work is pretty piss poor it seems.

I'd say going off how nice doggers conversions are, it should be listed higher than that.... Another option is to buy a low buck steelie, rob the motor from it and sell it as a ready to ride...??

Why would you want to go through another complete build for a bike that would really not be much better?

So when I ride my 2011 CRF450 back to back with the 500, its not such a strange feeling. Although I have the same bars grips, pegs etc.. The Gen 4 feels bigger, wider, longer than the Gen 5.

Its not really an issue, but I do like the Gen better.

Sometimes the build is a bunch of fun in itself!

I did my two gen3s and had a blast... Now I'm thinking a gen5 with a 2001 cr250 motor would be a fun mix. Just need to assemble the parts to make a whole and then figure out the challenges of making it work.

Sooooo.... Anyone know of a roller and a motor? Lol

I really enjoyed the build. But if I can sell my Gen 4 Ill strip one of my Gen 5's and do another build.

By the way, I listed my bike on classifieds if anyone is interested.
