best engine to use cr500 86 to 2001

hi can someone please tell me the best way to get the bushings done on a 86 to 88 engine or would it just be better to use a 89 and up, some people say say the 89 and up are better but others say the 86 to 88 are better im just wanting to no the best one,s before i go and buy one of them and its not the right one im going to be using mt 04 gen 3 cr250 please help with some advice thanks michael
