Can anyone explain the different types of NGK plugs and what is the logic behind the different designs? (I.e. "eg" vs. "es" vs whatever else there is).
Also, what are some of you guys running for plugs on modified engines on gasoline?

B8ES for any CR500 no matter how modded or stock.

non resistor plugs DONT WORK if your running a 99 250 ignition
im running a BR8EG right now, the G is a smaller electrode, but not some fancy metal

BR8EG is the plug I ahve always used in all my MX bikes.
