my gen 1

Post by supermotoflunkie »

I built my gen 1 late last year/early this year and have been riding it a bunch.

I have been trying to sell it locally for around $2k but my ads keep getting flagged.

Id trade for a 250 2stroke or beater 450.

Motor has about 30 hours on vortex piston and fresh bore.

Needs fork seals.
I think the motor is loud than it should be. Maybe time for a crank soon?
She's showing some age but still makes good power.

Id prefer to meet within 3 or 4 hours of Denver if your an out of towner. Not too sure about shipping....iv never shipped a Bike before.

If you search supermotoflunkie on YouTube, I have a couple vids of it up. I'm having trouble coping the links on ny phone..

The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

She's gone! Traded for an immaculate 03 RM250.

I do miss it but the RM is more compact and I bet its a little lighter.

I do have a spot in my heart for the 500s after spending time with mine. awwwww
