Poleposition Raceway Las Vegas

There is going to be another Poleposition Raceway opening in Las Vegas here very shortly. Ken Faught and Jason Williams have brought some of the biggest names in motorsports in on a indoor go cart business that has been very successuful so far. We have been fortunate to get in on the fun and met some very cool people. When you walk in the place it is full of racing memorabilia of all kinds. Corona, OKC, and Murrietta all have alot of cool bikes and MX gear from pretty much every MX rider you can think of. Well, in Vegas we are going to have some cool hillclimb gear. I was fortunate enough to get Harrold Waddell's Championship gear, Jason Smith's Championship gear, a set from "DW7" Dave Watson, and I donated my gear from France this year. All of the pieces donated are in full length plexi glass cases when finished. I felt like a little kid again asking them for their gear and having them sign it. Travis Whitlock still needs to send me the jersey he forgot to give me in Indi. and "Tiger" owes me a favor. Hopefully I can add a few more good ones for our sport. So, if you are in Vegas and wanna to do some cart racing and check out the gear. You won't be dissappointed! Those of you that came to Glen Helen and got to tear it up know what I mean.

I received a package from Dave Watson yesterday for the cart track. In the box was one of Jeff Thomas' jerseys, some of Dave's radiator shrouds, one of Dave's helmets and his 7 AMA National #1 plates. Thomas is the only rider that holds Championships in both the AMA and NAHA Pro Hillclimb Series.

Thanks, Dave & Jeff!

that place is called fast lap.. not the same... fast lap uses gas powered carts.. pole posistion i believe are electric carts..

I have been to fast lap.. IT was fun but i recommend not doing it in the middle of the summer... it was a wee bit warm in there.. allthough very fun.. :D

I would wait for like a month before you go drive at Poleposition in Vegas. There is no rubber on the track yet and they are pretty squirley. They don't have the carts totally dialed in yet either, they need to get a little more off the bottom and they will be as good as Corona.
