I have one of those kickstands. It's only worth 10 hp tops. Or do I need to rejet for it?

You need to re-jet........sewing needles worked best for me......I was able to get 19 extra hp out of my Pro Moto billet kickstand......but I also replaced my muffler bearing and installed the purple power band.

I sent him this:

Do you have a Dyno sheet for the claimed HP numbers? And, are these numbers at the crank or at the rear wheel?

It is very difficult to get even 80 HP out of a CR500, even with porting, high compression, reeds, pipe, silencer, modern carb and modern ignition. So your numbers are impressive, if in fact these are from a known good Dyno.

We'll see what he says!

He'll say his flux capacitor was out of alignment and didn't do as well as expected on the dyno. But his SOP dyno says otherwise!

And he said:

interesting points. the numbers are only rough estimates from my engine builder.

My reply:

Well, I am no expert, but I have worked on enough motors and know enough about CR500's to know that you should find a different engine builder. He is easily 25HP overestimating the output of your engine.
