Expensive Month....

Doggie "Emergency" C-Section $5k
Replace downstairs A/C ( Both upstairs and down stairs have their own 3.5 ton Carrier unit... Upstairs is just as old, its just a matter of time until it goes) $4k
Replace Dishwasher $800
Pay orthodontist for Sons braces. $4k ( his sister needs them too)
Replace tranny in Wifes Tahoe ( Granaded planetary on freeway) $2k
Dmax roll up bed cover gets destroyed when leash gets wrapped up on driveshaft @ 80mph. $700
Sent in Cooperstown Base Ball Tournement money + bought Airline tickets and paid for lodging $5k ( Girls are going to NYC for a few days, so add another $3k)
Now today, My Duramax goes haywire. Started off as a "roughness" on the Freeway. Now it pouring tranny fluid out and sounds like the crank is in two pieces. Best case scenario is the flexplate snapped and took out the converter seal. Worst case is crank really did snap and everything is all SNAFU. The serpitine belt hopped off, which really has me worried. $ 3.5 k +
Paid 2010 Federal + State Taxes (You dont even want to know this one....)
Paid annual General Liability Insurance, and Auto Policy for both companies ( Ditto)
Total so far this month....
And its only the 12th.
I feel like Jay Lewis........
Damm, getting old sucks.....

I have basically zero help for you other than the vet bill. I find when I ask how much to put my dog to sleep the bill comes down a bunch and in a hurry......they don't like me much after asking.
I wasn't able to get myself to ask the orthodontist how much to knock my daughters teeth out and put in some dentures, but the tactic may work there as well.
Go Big or go home .....I am sure you will retire a wealthy man Bob.

Heck man, you're making it.
I say if you got bills like that, you're doing a lot of good things.
I thought my taxes and insurance package were high but, you prolly got me based on your other issues.
I live a little lower on the hog.
I work enough to keep food, shelter, beer and bikes.
If the ex were still around I'd probably be in there with you.
One foot in front of the other......

The puppies were stuck in her snatch.... She would have died with out the surgery.
Out of 7 puppies, only 3 made it
"Squishy" is the runt.... totally sweet.
"Medium" the middle one.
"BRUISER!!!".. He's out of control. 3x the size of the other two. If he gets any bigger, were changing his name to "Rhino Matt".....
The Tranny is out, shattered flex plate and a mounting lug torn off the convertor appears to be the only damage. ( Roosty called it.)
2006+ got a updated assembly. It will retrofit to a 2004, so thats whats going back in with a Suncoast twin disc convertor.
Still no clue why the serpintine belt shredded 5 miles before the tranny ka-powwed..... Weird stit like that is supposed to happen today... F / 13th.

Whoops.... tranny shop just called.
"C2" and "C3" clutch packs more than 60% worn. Silly to put it back "As-Is"....
Looks like a complete Suncoast overhaul....
