I bought some grip tape to do the same thing, but saw these and thought their cuts would be better than mine so I got them.

I would have been better off to go with the original plan and make them.

I had to retrim theirs to fit better.

They look good, but do not last long. I went through 4 gal of fuel at the dunes and I bet they last one more trip.

i tried snowboard stomp pad... cleaned the crap outa it with brakleen and dried it with a blowdrier.....
it didnt last a ride.....
if there was something out there that lasted id be all over it
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

heard of guys spraying this rubber crap on the sides, the same stuff that comes on mastercraft pliers...
couldnt find it so i never tried it
