Anyone know if the dimensions on this intake are stock or is it longer? I assume this is the one I want to buy. I ride strictly MX with the FMF Gnarly pipe and will be getting the proper carb. The stocker is getting dropkicked through the uprights from the 30. Want to get this straightened out before I start the airbox issue on my 04 450 frame.

both are the same length. vforce3 has 2 wedges where as the stocker only has 1, so they sit alittle different in the cylinder. not sure if what i said makes sense but maybe you get the idea ?

Completely understand. I do recall that the V-Force is different in construction in the pictures I saw. Is that the best intake to run?

i dont want to get into which setup i think is better but i can tell you the vforce3 has basically 2x more reed tip area. and because the cr500 intake boot has so much left hand angle going into the cylinder (about 20*-22* if i recall), the vforce center divider is supposed to even out the flow into both sides of the cylinder better. another thing is the stock cage has a fairly flat narrow flow pattern into the cylinder, where as the vforce is from the roof to the floor.
dont meen to get off track with that rubbish. anyway get a dremel because you have to match the insert to boot
