We are getting anywhere from 15 to 24" of snow in the next 48 hours..............
I'm nervous about splitting the pipe.

Krylon BBQ semi gloss (more like a semi flat)
On initial cure (heat cycle) it gets soft/tacky so it may be a good idea to run the pipe up to temp in your driveway and then let it cool.
Looks close to the oe semi flat finish

I use BBQ paint,a semi would probably look the best, but I just grab whatever is there when I am grabbing it. Every time I straighten it out and paint it insures I am about to pound it off something big and really screw it up. The BBQ paint sticks really well though.

I use header paint but, I think following their heat cycle recommendations is the key to getting it to last.
Oh and the torch works fine, just point the ends somewhere so if they pop off they don't damage anything.
Take your time and use MAP gas.
