CDI wire locations

I need to know what location the wires are in on the 2000-2001 CR250 ignition at the CDI plug
with the clip to release it at the bottom / towards the steering stem i think, what colors are these numbers?

Adam heres the color code, this is looking at the connector from the backside like your picture shows.
1.blue
2.black w/white stripe
3.black w/yellow stripe
4.blue w/yellow stripe
5.white
6. black
7.green
8. green w/white stripe

the blue and white are the generator, i cant see it making any difference which way they go, but they dont match, must have been opposite locations in other years

When I wired my MSD unit to a '97 250 stator I assumed the wires for the generator didn't matter as well. After chasing my tail because it wouldn't start, I swapped them around and it lit up.

Ok, I just swapped the wires so they matched how the images were incase of polarity or whatever you'd call it in a stator
