hi guys,

my lad is using my trusty cr 500 over these winter months,, have any of you guys converted to a decompressor system? either cyl head.. or cyinder? my lad is only just 17... and a feather weight,, but boy does that cr howl...

I put one on mine, and in my opinion it is the best mod to date. I felt a bit like a wuss putting one on, I mean I CAN start a 500, but I CAN also stall one way out in the middle of the dunes in an akward position on a hill.

Would you have rather spent $1,000 for an electric start?
