I had actually stumbled across this site first before the other one. Glad I never registered over there. So you mean to tell me that in order to post or ask a question you HAVE to have a 500? So much for asking questions before buying. I also saw some crap about not saying AF because that is Service Honda. What a crock of shit, do they have AF trademarked or something?

yeah, on the other board you have to say AFC because AJ with service honda doesn't like seeing non SH bikes listed as AF.

Did anyone send an Email to these poor guys inviting them over? I did not find that site til after I got my bike. However, if I would have had all the advice I got after joining before the purchase I would ahve gotten a bike in better condition. That would ahve saved me some tme/Cash!

The other site should take a lesson from 911 dispatch.
The dispatcher should have told the kid to beat it, "and come back when your really hurt!!"
just how many members are there that dont have a bike and lie about it but someone who's honest geniunly after some advice. and looking to purchase a bike
how the hell does is it make it a better site with that rule.

I would like a rule where no one can mention the number 863. Since that is what I have on my bike and race with it, no one else can even think about the number or use it in a sentence.
And then if they do, I'll tell them that it's mine, never use it again and then report them to have them banned!!
What the HeXX is up with those Jackaxles over there. I mean come on cant a guy/gal ask a question so they can be informed BEFORE a purchase. The idiot that said "you dont even own a motor, come back when you do" I'll donate 100 rounds of what ever ammo is needed to take out his God Complex. HOLY heck I'm glad I didnt join that site, I would be booted in an instant. I have some pretty dang strong thoughts and feelings about things and I will let you know what I think. All in all JACKAXLES can suck my finger. Maybe I'll go and join just ta be booted ok well maybe not. If Google would have pointed me here first, then I would not have registered at the other place. Hell, I just made the obligatory introduction post and someone copped an attitude.
I just wanted some help to learn about doing a conversion and a little camaraderie between guys who either ride or who have ridden the mighty 500 and since I used to own an 85', I made the mistake of thinking I could be in with the cool kids.
It's all good......I'll keep my posts to here and wish them well. I found what I was looking for here at "Banned" and will pass the word when I can. The daily challenges of work and family are enough, without more obstacles encountered on a website message board.
And.......thanks to those that have made this a friendly, helpful environment.
I think over time that it is being found that censorship does more damage then letting the truth stand.
