Its in a completely different spot to normal (off racetown 395) so I dont know how the taping off thing is gonna work.

From the flyer it looks like they are going to open the camping area on thus but Ill give em a call to check.

I did the worcs race at 395 last year, and really enjoyed it, the sandy desert section was a hoot, I am going to try and get my ducks in a row and make it.

I always have a blast at this race, the riding, hoonery and partying are second to none!!!!

Some people bitch that the track is too flat and the straights to long and you end up WOT most the time... Thats the bit I love :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

This isnt going to be the race you ( sorta) remember Brit.

All the drunkeness, fires, strippers, and Hoon behaviour are probably a thing of the past...... now that its moved venues.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. I'd say party on......... Hmm... Well now that I reread the bottom para, but I don't expect it to change much unless the revenue Nazis are out in force.

And from the owners or Racetown395;

Race Town 395 in collaboration with Off Road Sports is bringing the Adelanto GP back to life. February 12-13, 2011

Last year was supposed to be the last ADGP, but Scott Haydis did what he had to do to keep it going. "This race has a rich heritage for off-road racing, the city of Adelanto and is just a really fun event. I wanted to make sure it did not go away like many things these days. Our effort will make the event safer for the racers and much more organized in general, since the crew at ORS will be handling all the registration and scoring issues. We will offer live timing for the event and the old things that made the event fun will still be there: The mud hole jump, free camping and spectating in the off road portions of the track and the generally fast feel of the course will remain."

There will be designated free parking in the desert to keep the spectators, families and racers safe. With the full support of the City of Adelanto and the Adelanto Police Department, the event will be safe for all participants. The race will hub out of the Race Town 395 facility and provide some additional camping, paid camping areas, as well as space for all the vendors.

For more info on the event, go to www.adelantogp.com or email HYPERLINK "mailto:info@adelantogp.com" \t "_blank" info@adelantogp.com.
