MRE Millar Race engines and Auto machining

:ride:

By far the most enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgable, and outgoing service I have ever experienced, in any of the performance, auto, or motorcycle industry.

Adam displayed more enthusiasm about my engines, than even I. He always texted me, or phoned me about developments, or to ask me questions about my personal requests and options of the engine builds.

I had 2 engines rebuilt built by him, one for a friends CR500AF I am building, and the other, my own personal engine.
Friends bike is stock rebuild, rebuilt crank, all new bottom end, trans seals bearings and a few gears in the transmission too. TMR reeds, Mild exhaust port work, and mild bump in compression to make the power slightly more linear, and decompressor for the events when easier starting comes in handy, like sidehilling stall in the Rocky Mountains.

Mine is a full rebuild, TWIRP new crank, new wiseco piston, new cylinder, all new bearings and seals in the trans and crank, bushings, gaskets, kickstarter, studs, nuts and exhaust fastners/ springs I ordered through him.
And the best part... TWIRP ported case and cylinder, specially machined HF1 (1986 era heads), rechambered, and with decompressors installed.
One for pump fuel, one for C-12.

The TWIRP porting of the cases, and cylinder I am sworn to secrecy on, so th pics do not divulge the techincal details of that aspect.

Too, bad because TWIRP is the most revolutionary port design and theory I have ever seen for a CR500.
I can't wait to swing a leg over it and embarass anyone willng to eat my roost!

At the same time Adam doesn't want his idea's and work stolen, I think everyone would be sending him their engines after they saw the purpose and design behind the TWIRP mods.
It surely would sell like crazy if everyone knew what they would be getting

His workmanship is stellar, and the prices are so good, I may never rebuild my own bottom again, as long as he is willing.

He starts by inventoring parts, then the dissassembly begins.
Parts get hot washed, and then blasted clean.
As most can attest, up to your armpits in varsol tub, or with brake clean blasting around your garage, no matter what from you use, getting 2 stroke spooge off your parts is a suck ass job, and will never come as clean as a proper hot wash.

He inspects every detail, like kicker tabs, cases for cracks, trans gears and shifter forks etc.

I think maybe my point is being made clear.

I am 40 years old, owned 20+ bikes, 30+ vehicles and I don't think 4 of them remained stock.
I have never had the great service from a shop, as I have gotten from Adam.

I highly recommend his services, without any hesitation whatsoever.
If you all knew me well, you would know I am a pessimistic bitch, and have very high expectations.
Coming from me, a good word, means great work has happened.

He even notched the back of the cases for me, as he know these motors were aluminum frame virgins ... what a great guy!

I really am very skeptical about allowing anyone to wrench my stuff.
I have had too many bad experisnces with poor mechanics, or careless service.

Dealing with Adam and MRE, it immediatley became apparent, and was very reasuring to know someone with great integrity is wrenching my bike

Thanks Adam.
Your a great person, offerring exemplary service, to which many big business could learn from.

I can't wait to run them. Both bikes should be built and running by January.

Looks top notch! Things like this you almost feel bad assembling and running, but that's what it's for. I'm sure the real beauty will come out when the slide opens. This stuff has been tested in his stomping grounds by himself and his crew and you all see his homework he's donated all over the forum. More useful info and presented professionally for all of us to use.

I know I have at least one twirp in my future.

I have a couple of the full package out there, this is the first member.

I have an engine thats almost finished that i'll be selling complete, the bottomend is completely assembled less clutch components and ignition, the cylinder and head wont be ready for about 2 weeks, holidays are stacking me up and i have work for other customers to finish first.

I have bro setup with one and have a new one for the chassis i bought in pheonix this week.

I also have the one I ran on the dyno.

Theres 3 more confirmed customers, all north of the border

and is there pistols laying on the ground there?, and bullets?
sweet
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

The "Z" should be backwards so all ethnic groups would want one.

Adam those engines look great. How can I make my 92 cases look like that? Did you paint the cases or blast them?

agree'd
It is a shame nobody will see how beautiful the parts making the power really are, thats why I took lots of pics for the hoons, any true hoon would appreciate the beauty of it.

I blast them with glass, then paint them with VHT brake caliper paint. If the carb bowl is off and fuel gets slobbered on the engine the paint stays
