Local guy is selling a 1999 Husaberg 501 (asking 2800) anyone know what it is worth or anything about it?

could have a mint condition cr5 for $2800. or buy a clapped out one for $1500 and put $1300 into it. i wouldnt take that husaberg if the dude gave it to me for free. thats just me though

Those were VERY GOOD 4-stroke MX bikes. That is, up until '98 when the YZ400F was produced. Then people realized how crappy the Husabergs are/were.
