Fork Diameter

Post by robfromga »

I swear I searched...kinda

What years do the cr500 forks interchange. Im guessing that the inverted wont interchange with the slider on top model. But will say a 2000 fork fit the 1990 triple?

Is there maybe a sticky some place Im missing with regards to parts interchanging? Seats, shocks,forks, tanks...

Thanks, Im trying to make my way around here and the cr, sorry if I say anything stupid :lol:

90 = 45 mm Showa, old split axle, 4 nut pinch bolt pattern and old caliper mounting bracket. But newer cals. can be used with this bracket.
91 = 45 mm showa, I same as 90 on the lower forks and axle. But does have rebound adjuster in the cap.
92 = 43 mm showa, curent cal mount, axle mount and front axle.
93 = 43 mm showa
94 = 43 mm showa
95 = 43 mm KYB, 5mm wider triple and front hub.
96 = 46 mm kYB,
96 - 01 the same.
I don't remeber how to spell Kyaba.
