alternative rear fenders?

Im looking to add a black rear fender to my 1990. The only one Ive found is the maier and its 55 bucks
On another forum i read that someone moded a crf450 rear to fit, they said it was very easy but didnt provide much more info....can anyone confirm this?

my service honda came with a UFO rear fender, i didnt notice till i was sewing it back on with farm wire
so its good to have fooled me for 5 months+

i think ufo has the black, i want to say that it is the same fender fo 85-90 ?

ufo aint bad for aftermarket. 98% of the holes lined up.

What about the 450 fender? Anyone do that or the side plates on a steely?

I got UFO radiator shrouds for my AF and they went from black to kinda gray where my riding pants rubbed in one weekend. I have always heard good things about UFO but the stuff i got sucked.
