dude, that sucks!!!
Yeah, everyone is getting hit hard right now. My main client wants to cut back my hours and the business that my dad and I started hasn;t been making shit. We install coin operated breathalyzers in bars and give the bar $0.25 for each blow which we charge $1 for. In April we were averaging $50-$100 per week per machine. 2 weeks ago we actually had one machine with only $7 in it after 10 days. My dad drew up an excel spreadsheet with graphs and you can actually compart it to the housing market and they follow eachother perfectly. It really sucks.
You're not commission only, are you?

Yup
This is how its breaking down this month.... I did one deal where the pople din't buy any back end stuff, those deals I get $25 for doing the paperwork
Sooooo Ive got $25 made so far this month...... It gets better
I get charged back when any product gets cancelled within 12 months, each month I get between $50 and $1500 deducted...
I just got handed $380 worth of chargebacks soooooo
Im at -$355 for the month (payroll cuts off on the 15th)
Unless we have an awsome weekend (not looking like it) im gonna have to hit the emergancy money

Try four cavities being filled.

It wasn't that bad. Had one @ 17 now four @ 50

Sucks getting old. But it got better, was running late to work, made all the green lights down the hill to Riverside, Know body F'ed with me to Long Beach. The 91 going the other way was jambed solid.

No Senoir Manager and no boss today. Well the boss is cool so that doesn't matter. But I better get off my arse and make the tax payer feel all warm and fuzzie.

Only 80 cars a month? How the hell does anybody make any money? The Nissan dealership where I sold cars at, we did 250-300 cars a month. Anything below 250 and we were in trouble. If you didn't average 10 cars a month, your a$$ was gone. VERY high turn over rate. Top new car guy averaged about 15-20 a month. The top used car guy did over 30 every month. The guy was incredible. I think he sold his soul to the devil.
On another note, I'm starting to feel the economy too. I for the most part can keep my crews booked 3- 6 weeks out. I have 3 days of work for one crew next week, and last week was slow too. And the phone isn't ringing. I don't do very much New Construction( maybe 5%), so we don't normally follow their down times, but something is going on.

I wish I had your problems. This time of year, larger companies and corporations start dumping their budgets. They buy up a lot of services to deplete their budget so they can ask for more next year. Up until last week, I had worked every weekend for the last two months with only a couple of days back home during the week. Here I am in St. Louis this weekend missing out on some of the only decent riding weather we've had back home all summer. The weather here in St. Louis is perfect for riding but I've been stuck in a data center for the last three days battling bad test gear and a customer who can't figure out how to route their network but won't take any advise on how to resolve their problem. Friggin' network engineers are all a bunch of prima donnas who think they know everything.
My neighbor called yesterday to rub it in about how great the riding was at one of the local tracks. I haven't been able to get out to a track in over a month and a half - starting to get that weird feeling from not riding too long. If you see something on the news about a crazed Texan on a shooting rampage in Missouri, you will know who it is.
