I know they are getting say 150 hp out of some banshees twins and probably between 150-200 out of the triple cylinder versions. I wouldn't call bs at all, I have seen them as well. Heck the little 4 mil 421 cc cub cylinder banshee on gas are pushing 100 hp.
When you get your nos kit installed and running, can you post some pictures on how you did your install (mounting, etc) I would be interested to see how easy it was to install, where you run everything and if it's a pain in the butt or not on the dunes. Are you going to set this up so it sprays on the hit of the throttle or are you going to use a push button to engage it?
Gear up, I would go like 15-46/47 to get a bunch of speed on top for your hill racing. I would think it would pull it and it's the only way you will catch the quads. Hang on

If this is going to be your drag bike, I would go with a 44 Lectron personally.

Glamis is going to be real interesting this year.
Keep in mind Jay and Brit, Olds hill is about 2-3 miles through the dunes from camp. Or 5-6 to the store/vender flats then Olds hill.

I know there are alot of varibles but it's the starting point that I'm interested in. Just figuring the bike will run a 10-12 paddle tire and have say 70 HP. Is 4 over long enough. I would get one of the adjustable units if I did it.
lewisclan summed it up. just have get it dialed in. theres no magic lenght number. i had mine around +12. was to long for sure but not by alot. next time ill have it around +8 and see how that is, but ill also have a completly different bike this time around but +8 still should be in the ball park

brits bike is corked up way to much for that big of carb. if he gutted the airbox and used a different pipe then maybe it would work good- maybe. would have to be a non powerjet lectron though. hey brit, speaking of it, if your going to do it right im telling you should dump that stupid stock airbox and maybe think about a different pipe. the pipe makes or breaks a motor, call loomis, im sure he can tell you the same thing. i think loomis uses FMF becuase his bikes are hillclimbers for torque. you dont want a low rpm torque motor. that dont get the job done in the sand, unless you want to be stomped by flatbillers the rest of your life

. how many drag banshees did you see running a FMF pipe at dumont? NONE. thats because FMF or PC aint worth a fugg for drags. quit focking around and call glen and tell him to make you a drag pipe. i havent figured out the best combination yet, but i learned a few things that dont work

It aint an FMF its a noleen, if you look at the shape of the cone the first portion its fatter then it tapers way smaller than an FMF, it looks like a rev pipe to me.
