OK, mocking up things, I now have Ohlins forks to go with the Marchesinis. I went to slap it together and..... a little confused it don't fit.. inside fork leg blocks measure 6", Marchesini rim and spacers (from march.) measure 5.025"..... the 07 axle I ordered also comes up 1" short... what the hell?

I used a intake boot off an 88 I think. Different years had different angles. Ask Danny, I believe he knew this and everything else :D

 '89+ had a different boot angle than '85-'88. the '89+ seems to fit better in general, but the '85-'88 might clear your shock better, but push the float bowl into the reed block bolts.
honestly, it should be fine, when you get the air boot on, it should pull that carb out some.

85-86 boot tips down lower than 87-88 too
either way the reed block is longer and stacks up into the shock
i'd cut the jug area shorter and run the 89+ reed setup, the boot is longer to makeup for the shorter casting

I think the O.D. of that spring is 1mm too big. Did Pecker sell you that?

Yea bob had to get the fat ass spring, seriously I don't see how any boot will help, the carb is very low and seriously into the spring, just thinking about cutting it up and starting over,

Seems strange the motor straight in the frame would contact the spring; spring is centered in the frame/swing arm; 125, 250 or 4 poker. Is it a stock intake?

Gen 3 frames are cheap, using the TTM Y and some new rails would not be a whole lot of work and little Dremel time. Opt to a CR250 or CRF 250/450 with little cost and effort, most parts should transfer over.

Pecker needs to chime in, he has the same chassis and big spring.

Ohlins forks probably came with an axle to use when they were purchased new, or your triple clamps are wider than stock.

From what I remember, my Ohlins uses a longer axle and a different spacer. When I installed my Excel wheels, I had to machine a new spacer. I can measure my axle if you want.

Yes, any help would be great, not just the measurement but where can I order it and whats it off of or part number. Thanks

I would get the model number off your forks, and email Ohlins USA to get the part number for your axle and spacers. The model number of the fork should be stamped on it somewhere. Mine is a FG107. I emailed them a couple of times and they were very helpful.
