dude, put the 500 ignition back on, I told you that 250 cdi is wicked! try that and give it a chance. once you get used to throwing the backend out on a 160 series tire on the street you'll love it!

well, I'm not gonna give frank a hard time because in reality the cr500 motor is TERRIBLE for street use. a higher reving motor with a broader powerband would be much better suited.
Although, i do think he should put some knobbies on it and hit some of that crazy volcanic terrain there!

X2

I wanted to put street tires on my bike and let it rip but it just doesn't seem useful...i'd rather climb hills with it then catwalk a block then sit at red lights...

^^^after listening to that sound I would say bob nailed it on the head with his description...i hate that sound...I think it was GIX or oggo who said he wanted to swap a CR swingarm for an aprilia swingarm, and that it was fairly easy...i doubted him at first, but that aprilia swingarm looks real cool and that would be an awesome mod...i would love to see that...

if you play both those videos simultaneously you cannot tell the difference...

Gonna sell her eh? I thought i saw a listing on Craigslist for a street legal 500AF...since it wasn't mine, I figured it was yours.
Man, I'm shocked your selling it....but I TOTALLY understand why you would rather have a thumper for the street. My suggestion, put a proper pair of shoes on the girl (knobbies) and come over and we'll ride the Mauna Kea 200 together (after you get rid of that damn "Mississippi Mudflap"...Christ Man have you no pride? You're not THAT ugly).

Let me know how much $$$ etc. The Bozo i bought mine from might be interested....cause you know, a broken leg wasn't enough the first time.

Hey, i gotta badass black zx10r Streetfighter I'm trying to sell...check Craigslist (Big Island) from Monday the 23rd. Buncha squids houding me for it but no serious offers. Make you a killer deal!

Later,
Skiddy

cheers bala dude  but just to note it must be from an RXV(dirtbike) the SXV is too wide , they look very very similar but have different dimensions

It's a nice bike, but I don't get the whole supermoto thing I guess. They look pretty cool though.

a supermoto bike will destroy a streetbike in the corners. handling wise if setup correctly are untouchable. you shouold try it. a few guys on here have. or even youtube it.

Yeah, I agree.... My DRZ flat out SMOKES guys in the corners. But...every corner has a straight attached on both ends and that's where the sportbikes wave bye, bye.

Good fun though for sure. In my opinion it's WAY more fun to try and go really fast on a slow bike...then go really slow on a fast bike....and unless you're riding a sportbike on a track...you're going really "slow".
